New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks showing the world that he’s quite the golfer.

Spring Training is on the horizon and the MLB Hot Stove season has really started simmering this past week. The New York Yankees showed they are ready for the 2021 campaign after they settled with a bevy of players to avoid arbitration, re-signed infielder DJ LeMahieu and inked Corey Kluber to a one-year deal.

Taking all of that into consideration, that means the Yankees need to enjoy their golf days soon. And when it comes to golf, no one is better than outfielder Aaron Hicks.

Tiger Woods’ niece, Cheyenne Woods, posted a video on her Instagram story of Hicks after he hit a 303-yard hole-in-one on Sunday at Silverleaf in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Aaron Hicks, professional golfer?

This isn’t the only time that Hicks flexed his golfing muscles. In fact, he showed off last week when he launched a 330-yard drive over the netting at a Top Golf location! You have to admit it, the man has skills.

Hicks is looking to bounce back in 2021 after a brutal campaign this past year. The veteran outfielder was recovering from a Tommy John surgery that would’ve forced him to miss the start of the season. But due to the coronavirus pandemic, the campaign was delayed until July and Hicks didn’t miss extended time.

In 54 regular-season games, Hicks slashed .225/.379/.414 while recording six home runs, 28 runs scored and 21 RBI. As a fielder, Hicks converted 97-of-102 defensive chances while committing two errors. Hicks did show out in the postseason, as he recorded a .308 batting average and .847 OPS along with six hits and three RBI in seven games.

Baseball is obviously the priority for Hicks, but based off his eventful week on the green, we can’t rule out a professional golfing career in the near future.

Next. Phillies finally prioritizing JT Realmuto in free agency. dark
