Carlton Davis wasted no time in clapping back at Michael Thomas following the Buccaneers NFC Championship victory.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are headed — well, back to Tampa. But rather than returning home to start the offseason, the Bucs return from Green Bay to play in Super Bowl 55 in two weeks.

While the Chiefs or Bills await in the Super Bowl, Carlton Davis still has his eyes set on the bayou. Specifically, the Buccaneers cornerback has words for New Orleans Saints receiver Michael Thomas.

To be fair, Thomas went after Davis with no regard for human life during the Packers game. When Davis was beat by Aaron Rodgers on a touchdown pass to Marquez Valdez-Scantling, Thomas — who was tweeting about the game at home after the Bucs eliminated the Saints the previous week — was relentless.

Michael Thomas and Carlton Davis are beefing hard

When Davis got toasted for a touchdown on a slant route by Davante Adams as the Packers mounted a second half comeback, Thomas continued to pile on.

After the game, which the Buccaneers emerged victorious with their Super Bowl ticket punched, Davis caught up on the social slander and clapped back.

Davis and Thomas have beef, thanks in large part to the defensive back throwing fuel on the fire after shutting Thomas out in a NFC Divisional round showdown. The duo aren’t alone as far as Bucs-Saints beefs go, as Mike Evans and Marshon Lattimore have a long standing feud that has on more than one occasion spilled over into on-field fighting.

Who says the NFC South doesn’t have any true football rivalries?
