The Packers called their Gregg Williams defense to end the first half, for some reason.

Green Bay’s defense had made a nice recovery after an untimely missed holding call led to an Aaron Rodgers interception. Yet, Tom Brady never gives up that easily. Brady converted a fourth down and, shortly thereafter, threw up a prayer to end the first half. That prayer was answered, thanks to some truly awful defense to end the half.

No, you are not watch a replay of Jets-Raiders from earlier this season. It’s actually the NFC Championship Game! Yet, the Bucs hold a double-digit lead at the half thanks to some truly unthinkable defensive strategy by Mike Pettine.

The Packers were roasted on Twitter for some awful defense against Tom Brady

The Packers were handily defeated by the Bucs earlier this season, and perhaps they’re Aaron Rodgers’ kryptonite.

Yep, it’s that bad.

The Packers are only down 11 points, and if any offense is explosive enough to overcome such a deficit, it’s this one. At the same time, if the Packers do not make a monumental comeback against Bruce Arians and Co., expect Mike Pettine to be routinely replaced this offseason.

I mean, seriously, how do you let that happen in the biggest game of the season to date? It’s mind-boggling to say the least, and win or lose, Pettine is going to have some questions to answer.

Next. Aaron Rodgers threw a perfect TD pass to beat the Buccaneers’ defense. dark
