Tom Brady has aged quite well since his first Super Bowl appearance.

Tom Brady is back in the Super Bowl. That is a phrase NFL fans are used to hearing by now.

The difference now is that Super Bowl 55 will feature a 43-year-old Brady suiting up in a Tampa Bay Buccaneers uniform. That means Brady is seeking his seventh Super Bowl ring and his first away from the New England Patriots.

Brady’s continued success makes it fun to look back on where it all began. A side-by-side shot of Brady and his younger self back in the early 2000s will have fans wondering how one can achieve such a huge glow-up with age.

Brady isn’t slowing down at all

Brady may have lost some hair between then and now, but he is much more than a former sixth-round pick who had a hot start in New England. He is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game.

His first Super Bowl appearance came during the 2001 season. Brady took over for Drew Bledsoe and took down the heavily-favored St. Louis Rams, being named the game’s MVP in the process. The Patriots missed the playoffs the following season, only to win the next two Super Bowls to make Brady a legend.

Now he has built a brand as he prepares for his 10th Super Bowl. TB12 is a recognizable name and it is fascinating to consider how Brady entered the NFL, and also what he looked like as a player just wanting a chance to prove himself.

The parted hair is gone and the clothes fit a bit better. If Brady pulls off another Super Bowl victory in two weeks, who knows what he will look like when his career ultimately comes to an end? Is there even an end in sight if he isn’t slowing down at this age?
