Tom Brady and Gronk recreated moment after they beat Chiefs in 2019
By John Buhler
Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski recreate a special playoff moment from two years ago for us.
Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski have won their last two conference championship games on the road, mostly because they’re bad boys for life.
Two years ago, Brady and Gronkowski won the 2018 AFC Championship game over the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead. Despite being on a different team this time around, Brady and Gronkowski helped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers win the 2020 NFC Championship game over the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau. Naturally, the dynamic duo recreated this magical moment.
Will the 2020 Buccaneers end up champions like the 2018 Patriots?
Their former team in the New England Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl 53 down in Atlanta. It was a low-scoring affair, but it resulted in the sixth Lombardi Trophy in Patriots franchise history. The Buccaneers get to go back home to the play the Chiefs in Super Bowl 55 at Raymond James Stadium. In an unprecedented season, we get an unprecedented Super Bowl.
In two weeks, we will have the best player in football in Patrick Mahomes vs. the best player in NFL history in Brady going at it for a Lombardi Trophy. Will Brady get Lucky No. 7 or will Mahomes be the first quarterback since Brady to repeat as a Super Bowl champion. Kansas City opens as a slight favorite, but do not count out the home dog Buccaneers in their first Super Bowl since 2002.
For the time being, Brady and Gronk ain’t going nowhere because they’re bad boys for life!
