1. Indianapolis Colts
The Colts are going to be prominent in the quarterback market this offseason, with a bunch of cap space again (just shy of $65 million; second-most in the league right now according to Over The Cap). Owner Jim Irsay spoke about the quarterback situation earlier this week.
Jim Irsay on the Colts' QB dilemma:

"Our belief is we’re close, that we have a tremendous nucleus of players that are capable of competing for the Super Bowl very soon. Ideally if you can get someone to come in this year who’s ready to go, it gives you your best opportunity..."
"That special guy under center can change your trajectory like no one else... Those guys can bail you out."

A quarterback who is “ready to go”. A potential long-term solution. A “special guy” under center who can “change your trajectory like no one else” or “bail you out.” Does that sound like anyone? Matthew Stafford fits some of that bill, as he and the Detroit Lions prepare to part ways and he sees the Colts a desirable landing spot. But Watson will still only turn 26 in September, so he is a possible long-term solution well beyond the length of his contract.
As Watson considers preferred trade destinations, the Colts have to stand out. A team that’s ready to win, with a need at quarterback as well as cap space and all of its draft picks to add more pieces. Don’t dismiss the revenge angle for Watson, staying in the AFC South with the Colts and facing the Texans twice a year until further notice.
