Baker Mayfield was not a fan of Cleveland Browns fans wanting to trade for Deshaun Watson.

Despite leading the Cleveland Browns to the AFC playoffs for the first time since 2002 and guiding them to their first playoff victory since 1994, apparently some fans would rather have Deshaun Watson quarterback their team over Baker Mayfield.

Mayfield saw Dawg Pound Daily’s post about the possibility of Cleveland looking at the Houston Texans disgruntled star quarterback. He quote tweeted Dawg Pound Daily, responding with, “[Okay]. Some of y’all “browns” are funny.” While this post is a bit of slight at the franchise’s best quarterback since Bernie Kosar, every NFL team but like three could consider trading for Watson.

What teams would have no reason to inquire on Deshaun Watson’s availability?

The list of teams who would not at least want to consider adding Watson via trade are small. The only two teams with absolute certainty that would not have interest in trading for him would be the Kansas City Chiefs and the Seattle Seahawks. That is because Patrick Mahomes and Russell Wilson are the only quarterbacks definitively better than Watson entering the 2021 NFL season.

Next. Matthew Stafford thinks he could end up on the Rams. dark

Even teams like the Green Bay Packers or the Buffalo Bills, teams who really like their starting quarterbacks, would at least think about the possibility of trading for him. The only other team who would probably say no is the Jacksonville Jaguars, and that is because they are expected to take fellow Clemson legend Trevor Lawrence with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Mayfield’s job security is great after an excellent third year, but yes, this post did touch a nerve.
