Rob Gronkowski is first player in Super Bowl history to pull off this feat
By Mike Luciano
Rob Gronkowski made NFL history in Super Bowl 55.
It was Rob Gronkowski and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who scored the first touchdown of Super Bowl LV, as Tom Brady hit a wide-open Gronk for the first first-quarter touchdown of Brady’s Super Bowl career. Gronkowski became the first player to catch a touchdown in five different Super Bowls.
Another accomplishment in a legendary career for Gronkowski
Gronkowski has set quite a few records in his day, especially in the postseason, but this one shows just how long he’s been at the very top of his game.
