The Tampa Bay Buccaneers shocked the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 55 and multiple players stepped up to have monster games with the Lombardi Trophy on the line.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have done the unthinkable and taken down the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 55. From start to finish, the Bucs dominated on both sides of the ball, with Tom Brady also putting on a show on offense.

With that said, Brady of course wasn’t the only player who went on to have a sensational game in the Super Bowl victory. Here’s our look at the three players of the game in this one.

Tampa Bay running back Leonard Fournette was a force on the ground

The man known as ‘Playoff Lenny” came through in a huge way for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Indeed, running back Leonard Fournette was a workhorse for the Bucs, rushing for 89 yards on 16 carries and a score. Fournette, who added four receptions for 46 yards, bulldozed his way to some impressive runs.

Of course, none were bigger than his 27-yard touchdown burst in the third quarter to give the Bucs a 28-9 advantage. That run really shocked the Kansas City defense and took even more wind out of their sails. What a day it was for Fournette.

Linebacker Devin White powered a spirited showing by the Bucs defense

With the Kansas City Chiefs playing without both starting offensive tackles, defensive coordinator Todd Bowles put an incredible amount of pressure on Patrick Mahomes throughout the night. One guy in particular defensively who was flying all over the field was linebacker Devin White.

At times, he really looked like the best player out there, period. White led the team with his 13 tackles on the night, plus his interception with less than two minutes to go in regulation to put the exclamation point on the win. Bowles will be quick to praise White after the final whistle and rightfully so. What a performance.

Tom Brady captured his seventh Super Bowl ring in style

You knew we were going to close things out with Mr. Brady. Just like that, the future Hall-of-Fame signal-caller has taken home Super Bowl ring No. 7. Just when you thought Brady wouldn’t have what it takes to lead the Bucs over Kansas City and Mahomes, he was fantastic.

In the victory, Brady threw for 201 and three touchdowns. He and Rob Gronkowski hooked up for two scores, making the win even more special. In his first year in Tampa Bay, Brady has helped the franchise reach the promised land. Brady has played in 10 Super Bowls and won seven of them. The greatest of all-time, folks.
