For the first time since Week 16, the Kansas City Chiefs will have a healthy Sammy Watkins.

The big day has finally arrived — Super Bowl 55. The Kansas City Chiefs look to become the first team to win back-to-back Lombardi Trophies since the New England Patriots did so back in 2004 and 2005. Then, there are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where quarterback Tom Brady is looking to win his seventh Super Bowl and his first with a new team.

Heading into the week, there were some big names on both squads listed as questionable heading into Super Bowl Sunday. But both teams received great news.

Wide receiver Sammy Watkins and running back Le’Veon Bell are listed as active for the Chiefs, while wideout Antonio Brown and tight end Cameron Brate will suit up for the Buccaneers.

Mahomes and Brady will have their weapons available to them

Watkins has been sitting on the sidelines throughout Kansas City’s run to the Super Bowl this year. Back in Week 16 against the Atlanta Falcons, Watkins left the game with a calf injury and has not taken the field up to this point. His usage will certainly be something to monitor, considering the Chiefs made it to the big game with a wideout corps of Tyreek Hill, Mecole Hardman and Demarcus Robinson. Through 10 regular-season games this season, Watkins recorded 37 receptions for 421 yards and two touchdowns.

Additionally, Bell hasn’t taken the field for the Chiefs since their narrow AFC Divisional Round win over the Cleveland Browns. He missed the AFC Championship Game versus the Buffalo Bills due to a knee injury. After two weeks on the sidelines, Bell is good to go for his Super Bowl debut.

Onto Tampa Bay, Tom Brady’s passing attack will be at full strength with Brown and Brate active. Brown missed the NFC Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers due to a knee injury picked up in Tampa Bay’s Divisional Round win against the New Orleans Saints, while Brate strained a back muscle during practice this past Thursday.

While Chiefs and Buccaneers fans are thrilled to hear the good news about these pass-catchers, there is no one happier than Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes. That is guaranteed.
