If you had told me in August that I’d be writing an article that contains the following sentence, I’d have said you were living in a fantasy:

Super Bowl 55 will be held on February 7th, with thousands of vaccinated Healthcare workers in attendance.

My first thought would have been, “We make it to the Super Bowl without a delay in the season?” And that, at the time, seemed far fetched enough. But then to hear that not only would fans be in attendance, but that we already have a vaccine rolling out before February, would have seemed like a dream.

Of course, that’s the spot we find ourselves in today. The only game left is the Super Bowl, and the world is showing signs of hope as the vaccine is slowly distributed among the population. I want to use this platform to thank the front line Healthcare workers for their tireless and heroic acts. One can only hope that by next August, the thousands of fans in attendance at sporting events seems less like a fantasy, and more like a celebration of the triumph over this devastating, deadly virus.

In between weeks 1 and 2, I released my list of preseason bold predictions, along with a few new ones after Week 1. You can find that article HERE. Today, I look back at these predictions to see how I did.
