Even though the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won Super Bowl 55, star players like Mike Evans and Chris Godwin were still mesmerized by Patrick Mahomes.

Despite his Kansas City Chiefs getting crushed in Super Bowl LV, Patrick Mahomes made a pair of Tampa Bay Buccaneers stars turn their heads in amazement.

Tampa Bay throttled Kansas City 31-9 on Sunday night for all the world to see. Even though the Chiefs did not score a single touchdown, Mahomes’ ability to evade the relentless Buccaneers pass rush had wide receiver Mike Evans and Chris Godwin blown away by the whole thing. They could not believe some of the passing attempts Mahomes was able to pull off in utter chaos.

Win or lose, Patrick Mahomes does things no other quarterback can

What sets Mahomes apart from the rest of his quarterbacking contemporaries is his undeniable arm talent. He has just enough foot speed to avoid the pass rush. His creativity from in and outside the pocket allows him to pull off ridiculous throws such as this. He can be thrown around in circles, falling to the ground or have to go to his left hand and Mahomes will still sling the ball.

With him still in his mid-20s, this will not be Mahomes’ last trip to the Super Bowl. If that does end up being the case, he should sue the Chiefs for managerial malpractice for wasting his late 20s, his entire 30s and maybe even his early 40s.

Fortunately, that is not going to be the case. Tampa Bay was the better team that day, but there is no doubt who the best talent on the field was Sunday.

As long as Mahomes stays healthy, the Chiefs will hoist another Lombardi Trophy or two for sure.
