Bruce Arians didn’t hold back in letting Bucs fans know what he thought of the team’s Super Bowl performance against the Chiefs.

You better believe winning the Super Bowl means everything to Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians. The veteran head coach is in Florida right now partying with his players, rocking his trademark sunglasses and enjoying cold Bud Lights. Oh, he’s also delivering jabs to the Kansas City Chiefs too.

While speaking to the crowd at the team’s Super Bowl parade, Arians let everyone know just how bad his team took it to the AFC powerhouse.

Bruce Arians let everyone know that the Bucs kicked the Chiefs’ ass in the Super Bowl

“We going for two,” Arians said via Pro Football Talk. “We going for two and we ain’t stopping.”

“We’re going to keep this band together, and they know how to win. . . . You beat every damn thing we lined up against you. You did it the right way. We did it the right way. We physically kicked their (Chiefs) ass,” the Bucs head coach continued.

Ouch. If you’re Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, Tyreek Hill or any other player on Kansas City, how do you feel about Arians saying this his guys kicked your ass? Plain and simple, Arians isn’t wrong here, as Tampa Bay really dominated Super Bowl 55 and cruised to a 31-9 victory.

From start to finish, the Bucs were the superior team and took the Chiefs completely out of their game. Mahomes finished throwing for 270 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. The amount of pressure the Bucs defense put on him was almost stunning to see.

It led to the Chiefs offense struggling to get into a rhythm. The same couldn’t be said for the Bucs, as Tom Brady threw for 201 yards and three touchdowns, with all of his scores coming in the first half. Kansas City might use Arians’ quote as motivation for next season, but for now, he’s got every right to say whatever he wants.
