Should the Seattle Seahawks end up trading Russell Wilson, two teams have emerged as the early favorites to potentially land him.

What in the world is going on in Seattle? After what appeared to be a perfect marriage between Russell Wilson and the Seahawks, the script was flipped this week when the superstar signal-caller made it clear he’s not happy with how the offensive line has been protecting him.

Straight up, Wilson is tired of getting pressured and sacked so often. Still, for him to call out the team publicly has angered plenty of folks and trade rumors are starting to fly. So, should he actually get dealt, which teams could end up acquiring him? Per Vegas, two teams have emerged as favorites.

The Seahawks would be making a huge mistake if they trade Russell Wilson

Indeed, both the Dallas Cowboys and Las Vegas Raiders top the latest odds as the likeliest teams to make a move to land the Super Bowl-champion quarterback. Seattle isn’t just going to give him away, though, as the team would likely want a starting signal-caller in return and a flurry of first-round picks.

Still, could you imagine Wilson leaving The Emerald City to play for either the Cowboys or Raiders? It’d be shocking to see him in a new jersey, but you never know what might end up happening this offseason. With Pete Carroll wanting to focus on the run game too, this could potentially open the door for Wilson to try and get out of town as well.

Right now, everything is speculation, but leave it to Jon Gruden and Jerry Jones to try and stir the pot. You know both of them would love to have Wilson running their respective offenses. While it feels like a long shot, stay tuned to see if either guy gets something done.
