RB Leipzig face Liverpool at Puskas Arena on Tuesday, Feb. 16. Here’s all the info you need to watch this Champions League match.

The Champions League knockout stage kicks off on Tuesday with RB Leipzig and Liverpool. The Reds finished first in their group picking up 13 of 18 points. While the Red Bulls finished second behind Paris Saint-Germain in their group. The game is technically a home game for Leipzig. However, due to COVID-19 travel restrictions in Germany, the game was moved to Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary.

Leipzig have won four of their past five Bundesliga games. The Red Bulls are second in the Bundesliga, four points behind reigning Bundesliga and Champions League winners Bayern Munich. In the group stage, Leipzig were very shaky defensively, conceding 12 goals in their six games. While in the Bundesliga, manager Julian Nagelsmann’s team has only allowed 18 goals in 21 games. The Red Bulls will have to on top of their game defensively if they are going to leave Budapest with all three points. Left-back Angelino will be a key player in Tuesday’s game. Offensively, Angelino has eight goals and 11 assists in all competitions but he will have to balance pushing forward in attack and marking Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool’s season has come undone in recent weeks. After losing to 3-1 Leicester over the weekend, the Reds have dropped 13 points behind Manchester City in the Premier League table. After losing their last three Premier League games, manager Jurgen Klopp conceded that his team will not repeat as Premier League champions. Injuries have been the biggest problem for Liverpool. The Reds are down to their fourth and fifth string options at center-back after Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip, and Joe Gomez suffered season-ending injuries. Klopp had been forced to play midfielders at center-back to poor results. The loss of Fabinho and Naby Keita has further weakened Liverpool defensively. As a result, the Reds will be vulnerable to Leipzig’s attack. With so many injuries, Liverpool will rely on their front three to outscore their defensive liabilities. The front of Salah, Sadio Mane, and Roberto Firmino have combined for 39 goals and 16 assists. The trio will have to find the back of the net multiple times for Liverpool to advance.
