Police say ‘no evidence of impairment’ in Tiger Woods crash
The sports world continues to worry about the health of Tiger Woods, as the star golfer was involved in a serious car accident on Tuesday morning.
There continues to be loads of concern for Tigers Woods on Tuesday. Earlier in the day, the superstar golfer suffered injuries in a serious car crash. As soon as it was announced Woods was involved in the one-vehicle crash, countless folks out there took to social media to wish him the best.
Well, new details continue to emerge on Woods’ accident. This includes the local authorities saying there’s no evidence of impairment being the result of the crash.

In addition to that statement, the police also said that Woods appeared to be speeding at the time of the incident. According to Daniel Canova and Ryan Gaydos of Fox News, Woods was on his way to meet with NFL stars Drew Brees and Justin Herbert on Tuesday morning. Following his crash, he was transported to the Harbor UCLA Hospital.
In some promising news, the Washington Post’s Ben Golliver has tweeted that the first officer on the scene of the crash said Woods was calm, and that he was able to identify himself with no issues. He unfortunately was not able to walk off under his power, which led to him being taken to the hospital for further evaluation. That officer also said Woods is lucky to be alive.
It goes without saying, but Woods’ fans, family and friends are all hoping he can make a quick and speedy recovery. While everyone wants to see him back on a golf course showcasing his beautiful swing, the most important thing is him getting back to health and overcoming this truly frightening incident.
