Pick Analysis. AFC. North. Cleveland Browns. 53. Scouting Report. 2. player

The Browns have the foundation of an elite pass rush, with All-Pro former No. 1 overall pick Myles Garrett on one side of the defensive line, but Cleveland has made finding a worthy complement on the opposite side a top priority.

In the AFC Divisional Playoffs, as the Browns managed to land nary a finger on Patrick Mahomes as he was hurried just three times and sacked once, it was evident how much this team missed Olivier Vernon and that Garrett simply can’t do it on his own.

The Browns are reasonably well positioned, with $20.2 million under the cap to bolster their front-seven, which could make Cleveland a top destination for Ingram, who would also get the chance to chase a Super Bowl ring on the banks of Lake Erie.

Ingram makes a lot of sense for the Browns from a scheme and need standpoint, and Cleveland could also double-dip and look to add pass-rush depth in the NFL Draft, as well.
