Najee Harris 2021 NFL Draft landing spot No. 4: Atlanta Falcons

This past season, the Atlanta Falcons experimented with a bit of change at running back. After letting Devonta Freeman go, they inked Todd Gurley to a one-year deal in hopes that a return to the state of Georgia could revitalize the former Rams star.

Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Gurley still looked like a shell of his former self and now the Falcons have no answers in the backfield moving forward. While they likely wouldn’t use the fourth-overall pick on Najee Harris, the beginning of the second round could be a spot for them.

Atlanta was at their best under Kyle Shanahan’s watch when they were able to run the ball effectively. As the Falcons try to recoup some magic with a regime change, adding Harris could help accomplish that if they are in range to grab him.

Najee Harris 2021 NFL Draft landing spot No. 3: Pittsburgh Steelers

There has been a weird confluence of events in Pittsburgh in recent years as it pertains to the offense. Despite widespread remarks that Ben Roethlisberger has lost a step, they have become a more pass-heavy offense. Now with James Conner potentially heading out of the door, that could be even more the case.

Having said that, a renewed focus on the rushing attack would be a wise move for the Steelers. Not only could it prolong Big Ben’s career but it could help set the heir apparent at quarterback up for success.

If the Steelers want to get aggressive in their approach to improving this aspect of the offense, adding the Alabama football star would be a phenomenal way to do that. His versatility out of the backfield would open up the offense in a way they’ve been missing.
