For the first time in his electric MLB career, Francisco Lindor is no longer in Cleveland and is now ready to make brilliant plays for the New York Mets. As you might understand, he’s pumped for this new opportunity, as there’s plenty of excitement surrounding the club under new owner Steve Cohen.

Well, on top of all things baseball related, Lindor is ready to take advantage of all the great things New York City has to offer. At the top of his list? The pizza.

Francisco Lindor fired up about New York pizza now that he’s with the Mets is awesome

Can you blame Lindor for having this response? Not at all. New York City is known for having some of the best pizza on the planet. If anything, countless folks who watched this clip have got to be incredibly jealous. Lindor said he might be taking down some slices 3-4 times a week, but that he thinks he’ll be fine because he never puts on weight. For the average Joe, the opposite is the case.

Interestingly enough, Lindor said the two places he would always eat pizza while playing for the Indians and on road trips would be Chicago and New York. Maybe we can have the standout infielder settle the Chicago-NY pizza debate once and for all for everyone.

As you can tell from the video above, Lindor is quite happy now that he’s donning a Mets uniform. Looking ahead to the 2021 campaign, he’ll do everything he can to remind the fans in Flushing why it was such a smart move by the organization to make the blockbuster trade to land him.

Next. Mets fans are freaking out over Francisco Lindor trade, and rightfully so. dark
