1. Penei Sewell

Sewell’s potential match with the Bengals lines up exceptionally well for the franchise at No. 5. If the talented left tackle is still on the board when Cincinnati goes on the clock they should sprint to the podium to acquire him.

The former Oregon standout isn’t an exceptional athlete, but he’s got more than enough mobility to hold up as a starting tackle at the NFL level. What raises his profile as a prospect is the power he can play with at the line of scrimmage.

The strength he demonstrates at the tender age of 19 is downright frightening. It’s easy to envision a scenario where grows into an absolute mauler when his body finishes developing. That means he can both protect Burrow’s blindside and bust open holes for Joe Mixon and Cincinnati’s run game.

Sewell is a perfect fit for the Bengals’ biggest need heading into the draft. They’ll face a nervous wait to see if he falls to them at No. 5. If he does, they’ll select him and earn plaudits from draft experts who understand just how good he can be in this system.
