3. Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue

Here is a really intriguing draft prospect. Rondale Moore played three seasons at Purdue, and if you are not a diehard college football fan, then there is a strong chance you may not know who he is.

Simply put, Moore is a playmaker. His 2019 season was cut short due to injury, and he only played in three of Purdue’s six games in 2020.

Although, in 2018 Moore was incredible as a freshman. He had 114 receptions for 1,258 yards with 12 touchdown receptions. He also ran the ball 21 times for 213 yards and two more scores. He was named a Consensus All-America.

Should the Ravens add a player like Moore? Or target a bigger, more physical outside receiver? That is up for discussion, and the team could draft Moore and sign a bigger receiver in free agency still. Imagine Moore with Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown?

This would be a great addition for the entire offense, and even more specifically a fantastic option for Jackson. He and the offense struggled to move the ball down the field consistently last season, and a player like Moore could open up a lot of looks in 2021.

According to Sports-Reference, Moore is 5-foot-9. Some may view him as a redundancy with Brown, who has similar measurements. In this offense though, the two could coexist and do great things for a former MVP quarterback.

Does Moore seem somewhat risky? Sure. He was injured and then did not play much last year. So, scouts and front offices are judging him on a great season he had three years ago. But, he still demonstrated those skills in those three games he played in 2020.

At pick 27, on a current timeline that is leaning towards Super Bowl or bust, you can be risky. Moore could potentially take that offense to a new level through the air.
