Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady agreed to a four-year extension on Friday.

In his battle vs. time, Tom Brady keeps winning and winning and it never seems like it is going to stop anytime soon. He just handed Father Time another loss like he is Philip Rivers or Matt Ryan accepting defeat on a typical fall Sunday.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is coming off his seventh Super Bowl championship in his illustrious career. While many people happily retire to the Florida Gulf Coast, Brady plans to play with the Buccaneers for the next few years. He agreed to a four-year extension to keep him in Tampa Bay through 2022. Brady may play in the NFL through his age-46 season potentially.

Tom Brady continues to do whatever he wants in spite of Father Time

After a relatively down 2019 campaign with the New England Patriots, Brady has found the Fountain of Youth, albeit on the other Florida coast. In a land that celebrates fabled pirates and having a good time when the clock strikes five, Brady is doing his part to make Tampa Bay a city of champions. The Lightning won it all and the Rays won their second AL pennant ever last year.

As they say, winning is contagious and Brady is totally addicted to the stuff. While he may never be able to top an avocado tequila-induced Lombardi Trophy boat toss, Brady is not the type to quit while he is ahead. While this is a day Buccaneers fans can celebrate, the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints must accept Brady will be a mainstay in the division for a while.

Nobody has made Father Time look stupid for longer than the NFL’s quarterbacking GOAT Brady.
