We all know what the mock drafts look like, but what do they mean for your fantasy football roster next season?

The most exciting thing about the future is that it’s full of possibility.

In another version of my life, somewhere in the vast multiverse, maybe I’m a general manager in an NFL front office scouting young men like Trevor Lawrence or Micah Parsons, preparing to offer them an opportunity of a lifetime.

However, in this universe and this timeline, I’m a fantasy footballer. A general manager of sorts but one who won’t have to pack up and move my family if my projections are wrong. Rather than the Trevor Lawrence’s of the world, I get to sit back chuckle as players like Josh Allen fall to QB9 in the 8th round, knowing full well that he’s ranked as my preseason QB4 with upside.

That’s what sits after this introduction. A convergence of scouting the NFL combined with fantasy football to predict how this incoming class of rookies will do and how you should approach them when you’re in your fantasy GM chair putting together your roster this summer.
