1. Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers are the obvious inclusion on this list. The team remains without Anthony Davis and LeBron James due to injuries, so Drummond could come in and man the paint until the star duo returns.

This may be the one situation where fans don’t have to worry about Drummond needing to learn his role. James and Davis have set up the expectations and his job would be to slot in and not be relied on as a scorer.

Drummond could also help in the meantime as the Lakers are on a four-game skid. Marc Gasol has had a rough season, so Drummond could pair with Montrezl Harrell down low for the Lakers with Davis out. When the team is healthy, Drummond could even be part of the second unit to keep athleticism and size on the floor.

The only thing preventing this connection is if Drummond wants a long-term deal right away. However, the Lakers may be able to convince him to show up in hopes of winning a title, and then focusing on the money in the summer.
