Tom Brady may have gotten a little too excited on Twitter when Leonard Fournette re-signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

With Leonard Fournette re-signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Friday, it had Tom Brady in rare form on Twitter.

Now that the defending Super Bowl champions have all 22 of last year’s starters returning, we have never seen a more honest attempt to run it back in the salary cap era. While the Tompa Bay Gronkaneers are not the Chuck Noll era Pittsburgh Steelers, that didn’t stop Brady from going full-blown Frank the Tank from Old School on Twitter. He went with the third most popular GIF here.

Tom Brady, Leonard Fournette and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers must remain calm

No, the Buccaneers are not going streaking like Frank the Tank did after a few funnels. They are not fist-pumping in the cereal aisle in anticipation of a hot date either. As much as we’d love to see Brady crank some Whitesnake while sitting inside of a muscle car at his Floridian abode, we know Gisele will not be a fan of that. So Brady has to settle for Frank the Tank locker room composure.

And you know what? Brady should be excited. The Buccaneers are the favorites to win the NFC South for the first time in well over a decade. Getting back to the Super Bowl is within reach. Most importantly, he is having fun when most quarterbacks his age are enjoying retirement. Frank the Tank may have been too old to go Greek, but he did give it the old college try way back in 2003.

The only streaking the Buccaneers are doing is in the win column. Will Kevin Harlan announce it?
