Cowboys are a ‘dream team’ for former Seahawks Legion of Boom star

It sounds like the Dallas Cowboys are starting to become a defensive destination in free agency.
To say things went poorly in the Lone Star state last year would be to admit that you didn’t actually pay attention.
Things were far worse than simply bad in Dallas.
From Dak Prescott’s awful injury to the embarrassing ways the Cowboys lost games, Dallas was a joke that no one around the team found very funny. Perhaps worst of all was the utter failure of Mike Nolan’s defense, something that was so tragically bad that he was fired after the season despite bizarre unwavering loyalty from Mike McCarthy all season long.
Now Dan Quinn enters the fray as the new Cowboys defensive coordinator and already things feel different. The former Falcons head coach brings a reputation to Dallas that was born in the brooding Legion of Boom with the Seahawks vaunted defense.
His presence is already attracting free agents who are showing a desire to sign on and help the Cowboys erase the bad taste of last season.

K.J. Wright, who played for Quinn with the Seahawks, is the latest top-tier free agent to be connected to Dallas. Unlike other rumored signings, Wright is embracing the connection to the point of trying to speak it into existence.
“Dallas has certainly always been on my list of ‘dream teams,”’ Wright said. “With coach Dan Quinn there, and with other aspects of that team and that defense, I do think it’s one of the teams I fit in with.”
Wright also called Quinn a defensive mastermind, which is music to the ears of Cowboys fans sick of hearing the out-of-tune yodeling noise that Nolan’s defense made last year.
Quinn has already recruited two of his former players to Dallas, with Keanu Neal and Damontae Kazee moving from Atlanta. Wright would help add depth at linebacker, where the Cowboys have big questions surrounding Leighton Vander Esch and Jaylon Smith.
