Here are the new games from the NFL 17-game schedule for 2021
On Tuesday, the NFL officially adopted a 17-game regular season for the 2021 campaign and beyond. Here are the 16 games they added to the docket.
It’s here. After going 43 years of playing 16 regular-season games per team, the NFL is expanding. On Tuesday, what had been rumored since the signing of the latest Collective Bargaining Agreement last March became official with the owners passing the measure.
Going forward, some things will change. Each year, conferences will alternate who plays nine home games compared to eight. In the maiden voyage, it’s the AFC getting said right. However, the NFC will host two preseason games, while the AFC only has one.
With the change in scheduling, here’s how it all shakes in terms of an added 17th game. Keep in mind, this isn’t necessarily Week 18 (or the 17th game of each slate) but a game which will go somewhere on the schedule.
