LSU’s Ja’Marr Chase had his Pro Day on Wednesday, and NFL teams already licking their chops to draft him just got even hungrier.

Let’s not mince words here, Ja’Marr Chase is an absolute monster of an athlete.

We already knew this after watching him at LSU for the past few years, but Chase showed out in a big way at his prod day on Wednesday morning.

Chase ran an insane 4.38 40-yard dash and confirmed every amazing thing we’re already thinking about him in terms of his future in the NFL.

In addition to his 40 time, Chase has a 41-inch vertical jump and followed that up with a ridiculous 11-foot broad jump.

That’s serious WR1 stuff right there.

Chase ranks behind Heisman winner DeVonta Smith on most draft boards, and is neck-and-neck with Florida’s Kyle Pitts as the top receivers in this year’s class.

NFL Draft: Where will Ja’Marr Chase be selected?

Chase’s pro day merely solidifies his already golden draft stock. Now the conversation turns from whether there might have been any issues to where he’ll land and how high he will be drafted.

Mel Kiper Jr. has Chase as his fourth best receiver in the draft. Todd McShay thinks that Chase falls no further than the Miami Dolphins, who pick sixth-overall.

Let’s also not count out a potential reunion with Joe Burrow, as the Cincinnati Bengals have the No. 5 overall pick. Pairing Burrow and Chase together at LSU resulted in a National Championship so putting them together in the NFL isn’t a hard argument to make.

Chase will likely fall no further than the Top 15 picks, as even if a team picking in the range doesn’t think it has a need for him another team will and trade up.

And after this pro day, what team could look at Chase’s tape and not want him as their franchise receiver for the next decade?
