A graphic on Twitter is trying to compare Kirk Cousins to Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay Packers fans couldn’t be more furious about it.

When Aaron Rodgers decides to hang up his cleats and retire, he’ll go down as one of the best quarterbacks of all time. Kirk Cousins? Not so much. While Cousins has had some great seasons and also has a strong arm, on no planet is he in the same conversation as Rodgers.

Well, a graphic made its way to Twitter trying to put the two signal-callers in the same sentence. Packers fans saw this and they’ve understandably lost their minds.

Packers fans are furious with a graphic comparing Kirk Cousins to Aaron Rodgers

Per the tweet above, both Rodgers and Cousins are the only two players in NFL history with at least 26,000 passing yards and a 97.0 passer rating in their first 100 career starts. While Cousins sure can sling the ball all over the field at times, again, he’s not in the same category as Rodgers. There’s just no way.

The Packers superstar is fresh off a sensational regular season in 2020. He took home MVP honors after he threw for 4,299 yards, 48 touchdowns and only five interceptions. With Rodgers playing so spectacularly, Green Bay captured the No. 1 seed for the NFC playoffs.

Unfortunately for them, they ran into the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tom Brady in the NFC Championship Game. We all know how that story ended, as Brady went on to win his seventh Super Bowl in early February.

Cousins is known for being a bit of a choke artist in the postseason, and he’s driven Vikings fans nuts time and time again. Sure, he’s had his moments in the league, but Packers fans aren’t going to sit back and let anyone compare him to Rodgers.
