Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton finally flashed some power Monday night against the Orioles.

The New York Yankees got off to a 1-2 start and fans were waiting for the offense to show up. That finally happened Monday night.

The excitement started with an Aaron Judge solo shot just over the right field wall to make it 1-0. All rise, if you will.

Yankees sluggers finally wake up

Judge hitting a home run is a great sign and the party continued with a Giancarlo Stanton moonshot grand slam.

Judge’s homer was barely over the fence. Stanton left no doubt with his blast and also broke the game open in the process. This is a nice change for Yankees fans after they struggled to produce many runs against the Toronto Blue Jays to open the season.

Judge’s even came with an extra video angle to enjoy.

The slugging duo struggled to stay on the field last season and combined for 13 home runs during the entire shortened season. Getting a full season out of both would be huge for the team’s World Series chances.

For now, baby steps. Both Judge and Stanton hitting bombs on the same night is a good start.

Next. Yankees fans are already booing Stanton. dark
