There is one obvious 2020 draft pick Eagles GM Howie Roseman likely wants back.

The Philadelphia Eagles are undergoing plenty of change in 2021. Doug Pederson and Carson Wentz are gone as a new era begins under Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts. GM Howie Roseman was able to survive the cuts.

He will now look to have a strong 2021 draft class following a 2020 group headlined by his biggest mistake of the year. If Roseman could have a do-over, he likely would not have taken receiver Jalen Reagor with the No. 21 overall pick.

Eagles missed out on a top talent at receiver

Why is this the case? That is because Justin Jefferson was taken by the Minnesota Vikings one pick later. The Vikings rookie made the Pro Bowl and was also named second-team All-Pro. Meanwhile, Reagor had 396 yards and one touchdown in 11 games.

Having Jefferson could have made the ultimate difference for both Wentz and Pederson. The fact both receivers went back-to-back immediately put their careers in focus and while it is early, Roseman looks to have made the wrong move.

Reagor did suffer several injuries in 2020 and is still only 22 years old. So he has youth on his side and could flourish with Hurts throwing him the ball after a full offseason to work together.

The hope is that Hurts can turn it all around. If not, ownership is going to ask Roseman why he can’t seem to draft a quarterback with staying power. Adding talent around the quarterback is something the GM has struggled with as well.

There are no do-overs in the NFL. All Roseman can do is be better in 2021 or risk losing his job in 2022. A bounce-back year from Reagor would be nice as well.
