Broncos bold predictions, Jerry Jeudy

3. Jerry Jeudy will catch 80+ passes

Juedy gave the Broncos quality production as a rookie, but he’s another young Denver player with the talent to go from good to great in 2021. His exceptional route-running ability allows him to create throwing lanes for Lock on almost every snap.

His sophomore campaign will give the former Alabama star an opportunity to blossom into a true No. 1 wide receiver. He’s got triple-digit catch seasons in his future, but he won’t quite reach those heights in 2021. Instead, pencil Jeudy in for 80+ catches as Lock’s clear No. 1 wideout.

The real challenge for Jeudy will be to make sure he continues to produce big plays for the Broncos offense at the same slip he did during his rookie campaign. Averaging 16.5 yards per catch surprised some scouts who thought he might lack a little down-field explosiveness. If he can up his catch total and maintain that average then Denver’s offense will take a massive step forward.

Jeudy only needs quality quarterback play to make this prediction a reality. He will become a bona fide star the minute he has a signal-caller capable of matching his prodigious talent.
