New York Yankees second baseman Rougned Odor really looks like a totally different man now that he’s playing for the Bronx Bombers and had to shave his beard.

It’s really a tradition unlike any other. For the New York Yankees, they’ve long had their policy that players must be clean shaven. That’s why whenever guys end up signing there or getting traded to the Bronx, fans often enjoy some pretty cool transformations. Such is the case for Rougned Odor.

The second baseman just joined the team and wasted no time in making sure his face was clean and freshly shaven. With Odor no longer rocking his signature look, he really looks 10 years younger.

If you had to do a double take when see that photo of Odor, we assure you that you’re not alone. This is going to take some serious getting used to for Yankees fans all over the country. Odor really is unrecognizable.

Fans aren’t the only ones taken aback by his new look. Odor even admitted that his fresh new face has already caused plenty of confusion at home.

Not only is that hilarious, but it’s downright adorable. Unfortunately for Odor’s daughter, she’s going to have to wait for the offseason to see her dad back with his usual long beard. Meanwhile on the field for the Yankees, the team came from behind and took down the Tampa Bay Rays 8-4 on Sunday.

New York is now 4-5 on the season and two games back of the Boston Red Sox early on for first place in the AL East standings. Look for this team to start heating up soon, with the hopes of winning the division being a key focus.
