Los Angeles Rams star defensive tackle Aaron Donald has reportedly been accused of assault.

Aaron Donald is reportedly being accused of assaulting a man over the weekend, according to KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh.

Donald nor his representatives have commented on the allegations. The NFL hasn’t yet officially acknowledged the allegations either, however, the Rams did release a statement a few hours after the report came out.

The first report of the alleged assault surfaced on Wednesday morning when Pittsburgh attorney Todd Hollis released a photo of his client with injuries he claims were suffered at the hands of Donald.

Hollis told KDKA-TV that he was planning on filing charges.

Per the report that was released by KDKA-TV, who names Hollis’ client, the assault occurred in the early morning hours on an unspecified day over the weekend.

"Hollis says De Vincent Spriggs, who is the man in the photo, intends to file criminal charges against Donald for an alleged assault in the overnight hours of last weekend, April 10-11. It allegedly happened between 3-4 a.m."

The Rams released a brief statement saying they’re aware of the situation and would be looking into it.

“We are aware of the reports regarding Aaron Donald. We are collecting more information and will have no further comment at this time,” said in their statement, via Josina Anderson of ESPN.

Donald has Pittsburgh roots, as the Pro Bowler was born there and spent his college days with the Panthers before becoming the Rams first-round draft pick in 2014.
