Miami Marlins Jesus Aguilar made a crazy play to recover after a glove mishap by snatching the loose ball out of the air with his bare hand for the out.

How can a play go from error to highlight in the blink of an eye?

Just ask, Jesus Aguilar.

The Marlins first baseman turned disaster into delight by making an insane catch to deny Giants pinch hitter Mauricio Dubon at first base.

Watch it closely. The ball comes off Aguilar’s glove before he reaches out to grab it with lightning-quick reflexes just before Dubon could hit the bag.

The play had huge implications for the outcome of the game. The Giants were up 6-5 in the top of the 10th with the chance to continue the inning and add to their lead. Instead, Aguilar grabbed the final out and sent the Marlins to the plate.

It’s a good thing he did because Jorge Alfaro went on to drive in the tying and game-winning runs in the bottom of the 10th.
