Top NFL Draft prospect Trevor Lawrence has signed a huge endorsement deal with Adidas.
Trevor Lawrence is officially an Adidas man, according to Sportico that reports the former Clemson quarterback has inked an endorsement deal with the shoe and apparel company.
Lawrence is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2021 NFL Draft at the end of the month. He joins the likes of Alvin Kamara, Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, Juju Smith-Schuster and Tua Tagovailoa as notable Adidas brand ambassadors.
While Lawrence wore Nike apparel at Clemson, he has been a fan of Adidas since high school.
Trevor Lawrence will be one of the most marketable athletes of his generation
Despite likely playing in one of the smaller media markets in the league, Lawrence will have no issues being an incredibly marketable athlete with the Jaguars. He did play his college football at one of the best programs in the country, winning a national championship as a freshman in 2018 and reaching the College Football Playoff all three years he played for Dabo Swinney at Clemson.
Though he faces huge expectations to turn around a perennial loser in Jacksonville, Lawrence is seen as the best pro prospect since Andrew Luck coming out of Stanford in 2012. With Urban Meyer in charge of the Jaguars, we know that Lawrence will get the same level of great coaching he experiences in college under Swinney. Together, Lawrence and Meyer look to win big in Duval.
While the details of his Adidas deal have not been released, expect many more endorsements to follow.
