In his latest Twitter post, Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence basically confirmed to the world that he thinks the Jacksonville Jaguars will take him with the No. 1 overall pick.

It’s almost time for the 2021 NFL Draft, and folks across the country can’t wait for it to arrive. The major expectation is that the Jacksonville Jaguars won’t waste any time with the No. 1 overall pick and use it on star Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

Does Lawrence think this will go down? You better believe it. The standout signal-caller made that much clear on Twitter, as he basically sent a message to Jaguars fans letting them know that he’s looking forward to engaging with the community.

Trevor Lawrence appears to be all set to head to the Jacksonville Jaguars

Tell us you’re going to the Jacksonville Jaguars without telling us you’re going to the Jacksonville Jaguars. That’s how things feel here.

In Lawrence’s tweet, he thanks Jags fans for making donations to his favorite charities. He ends his message by saying he hopes to be part of the community soon. Okay then, Mr. Lawrence. Again, the huge expectation is that Lawrence will hear his name called first and suit up for Urban Meyer starting next season.

As soon as that happens, unless a huge stunner goes down, the Jacksonville fans will be ready to welcome Lawrence to town with open arms. The team is in need of a franchise quarterback. Blake Bortles sure wasn’t the answer, and as much fun as Gardner Minshew can be, he’s simply not the quarterback who is going to lead this team to a Super Bowl.

Could that guy end up being Lawrence? The Jacksonville faithful can’t wait to find out the answer to that question.
