Hernandez has a huge smile on his face in the tweet posted above and you can’t fault him for that whatsoever. Growing up in his backyard, he probably dreamed of one day winning the World Series. He was able to get that job done last year with LA.

Now that he’s with the Red Sox, he’s hoping the team can go on a serious run this year as well. Boston currently sits at 11-6 and in first place of the AL East standings. They’re tied with the Seattle Mariners for the best record in the American League. Is it too early for Red Sox supporters to start dreaming?

Meanwhile for Hernandez, he knows what it takes to win it all. Thus far this campaign, he’s appeared in all 17 games for Boston, posting three homers, seven RBI and a .269 batting average. Should Boston go on to win another World Series title, you better believe Hernandez will play a big role in making that happen.
