The Los Angeles Dodgers look to get back in the win column in their pivotal weekend series against the San Diego Padres.

After losing their first series of the season, the San Diego Padres have gotten some revenge on the Los Angeles Dodgers by taking the first two contests of their four-game set. While the Padres will look to go for the series sweep, the defending World Series champions will look to get back in the win column on Saturday night.

The Dodgers will send out free-agent acquisition and reigning NL Cy Young award winner Trevor Bauer to the mound. Bauer last pitched last Sunday against the Padres, where he struck out seven batters while allowing just one earned run on one hit (home run by Jake Cronenworth) in six innings of work in the 5-2 loss.

As for the Padres, they will send out their offseason acquisition in Blake Snell, who also started in the aforementioned meeting this past Sunday. In five innings, Snell allowed two earned runs on two hits while striking out seven batters of his own.
