What are the best possible outcomes Chicago Bears fans can hope for in the first round of the NFL Draft?

To say the last few years have been disappointing for Chicago Bears fans is to undersell things to an almost offensive degree.

Of course, that’d be the most offense Chicago has seen since Matt Nagy came to town back in 2017. Since then, Bears fans endured and survived the Mitchell Trubisky era but now face a future that is murkier than the Chicago River, but hopefully not filled with as much toxic garbage.

Whether Nagy and general manager Ryan Pace are in power after this season is beyond the point. Chicago needs to nail this year’s draft to set a foundation for the future and that starts with sticking the landing in the first-round.

3. Draft Teven Jenkins

This is not only a best outcome but a highly likely one for the Bears.

No player has been mocked to Chicago more than Jenkins, who would fill an immediate need on the offensive line while also acting as a pillar of the future to build around. Uncertainty is the perfect word to describe the Bears quarterback situation, but one way to start turning the corner is to build an offensive line that can adequately protect whoever is under center.

Jenkins seems to be one of the best guys in this draft class for that job.
