Jay Glazer drops bomb that Aaron Rodgers is fully done with Packers
Ahead of the NFL Draft, more and more reports have surfaced stating that Aaron Rodgers wants out of Green Bay.
If you were looking for something to spice things up before the 2021 NFL Draft, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has gone ahead and provided us with a bang. On Thursday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Rodgers is more than unhappy with Green Bay and is ready to move on.
Now, NFL insider Jay Glazer has taken things to a new level, as he’s reporting that Rodgers is fully done with Green Bay and a new contract isn’t going to be enough to get him to stay.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers may have played his last game with the team
This news has completely rocked the NFL. Rodgers just won the MVP award in 2020 after throwing for 48 touchdowns in 2020. However, he and the Packers fell to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Championship Game. As soon as the final whistle from that game arrived, Rodgers rumors started to swirl.
He really left the door open with his comments after the game about a potential exit from Lambeau Field. Now, per Glazer, it’s really looking like Rodgers is ready for a fresh start and wants out of Green Bay.
Despite climbing in age, with Rodgers set to turn 38 in early December, he reminded us all last season that he’s one of the best players in the league. He’s still got plenty of fire left in the tank and can help any team he suits up for compete for a Super Bowl run. Will it be Green Bay come next fall? That’s looking quite unlikely. Packers fans may need to prepare to see Rodgers suit up for someone else starting soon.
