There are a handful of players who could become the No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Now that were are only a few days removed from the 2021 NFL Draft, let’s look at who could be coming off the board first in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Next year’s NFL Draft will take place in Las Vegas in front of full-capacity crowds. Las Vegas is an event city and the entertainment capital of the world. Though we will have a full college season’s worth of additional data to dissect a million times over, one of these five players could go No. 1 in 2022.

Which top NFL prospects could be the top selection in next year’s NFL Draft?

Evan Neal projects as the best offensive lineman in his draft class

There are only a handful of positions worthy of using the No. 1 pick on. Those would include quarterback, defensive ends and offensive tackles. Though he will be propped up by the absurd amount of talent around him, the best offensive tackle prospect that will be draft-eligible next year is Evan Neal out of Alabama. He is the early favorite to win the Outland Trophy in 2021.

Neal will get more notoriety this season because Alabama will be breaking in new starters at most of its offensive skill positions. If true sophomore quarterback Bryce Young contends for an all-conference nod or makes it back-to-back Davey O’Brien’s for the Crimson Tide, Neal will be a big reason for that. While he is a long shot to go No. 1, Neal does play the right position to do so.
