Kedon Slovis could crack the top 10 if the USC Trojans win the Pac-12 title
Since the completion of the 2019 college football season, USC Trojans starting quarterback Kedon Slovis has been on the list of potential 2022 quarterback prospects. Some have argued he could be in the mix to be the top overall selection if he were to come out early. However, if he plays up to his potential in 2021, he should be a lock to go inside of the top 10. Slovis offers major upside.
Though some might dock him for playing in Graham Harrell’s Air Raid offense, a strong season out of Slovis that gets the Trojans back to the Pac-12 title bout will have him shooting up draft boards. Can you imagine what happens if USC wins the Pac-12 over Oregon? This is a prospect who may go top five like USC stars Carson Palmer, Mark Sanchez and Sam Darnold did before him.

No player stands to gain more from a great season than Georgia’s JT Daniels
Along with his former USC teammate Slovis, Georgia’s JT Daniels comprises that second tier of high-end NFL quarterback prospects for 2022. He lost his job at USC to Slovis after tearing his ACL in Week 1 of the 2019 campaign. However, he has since resurfaced magnificently with the Georgia Bulldogs. Since taking over two-thirds into last season, Daniels has yet to lose a start at Georgia.
Daniels was a former five-star recruit coming out of high school. While he does need to improve his footwork, Daniels is incredibly accurate as a passer. He is doing things at quarterback Dawg Nation has not seen since Aaron Murray, maybe even since Matthew Stafford? If Georgia gets to Atlanta, wins the SEC and makes the playoff, Daniels is going to be a Heisman finalist and potentially crack the top five picks in the 2022 NFL Draft.
