NFL teams have time to add one of these former Clemson football standouts in free agency.

With the 2021 NFL Draft firmly in the rearview mirror, let’s take a look at a handful of former Clemson football stars who are still in need of an NFL team to play on this upcoming season.

For whatever reason, these former Tigers stars have had to wait several months to have an opportunity to sign somewhere ahead of the 2021 NFL campaign. No, they are not the highly sought-after players they were coming out of college, but if they go to the right spot, they can make an impact on a winning football team. These three Clemson stars still remain unsigned.

Where could these three former Clemson football players end up playing this fall?

Vic Beasley has to have one more decent NFL season left in the tank, right?

While it remains to be seen if Vic Beasley has any interest in still playing football, he will get opportunities for at least another year or so based on his hype coming out of Clemson in 2015, as well as his otherworldly production for the 2016 Atlanta Falcons. Their former No. 8 overall pick was a First-Team All-Pro with a league-leading 15.5 sacks and six forced fumbles that season.

Unfortunately, that was his only Pro Bowl year in Atlanta. While he had an eight-sack campaign in 2019, that was his final season with the Dirty Birds. Beasley signed a one-year deal with the Tennessee Titans last year. It was a total disaster, as he did not record a sack and was released after five games. He played five more anonymous games with the Las Vegas Raiders last season.
