Juan Soto could be seen jumping around the batter’s box after the home plate umpire made a bad call late in Thursday’s game between the Nationals and Braves.

Juan Soto is known for his antics while at the plate. The “Soto Shuffle” has frustrated opposing pitchers for years, while Washington Nationals fans just sit back and enjoy it.

The young star has missed time this season because of injury and is now back in a pinch-hitting role for the club. He came in late during Thursday’s game against the Atlanta Braves and provided a weird highlight that involved him jumping around the box.

Juan Soto hops around after a bad call

The worst part of the clip was the blown call by the umpire. This pitch is clearly a strike and it appears Soto was hopping around waiting for the call. Instead, the umpire called it a ball and everyone was left confused as to what was going on.

Soto is 22 years old and is already one of the stars of the game. If pitchers don’t like his antics, if we will even call it that, they should focus on getting him out.

Soto lined out during the at-bat, but fans are just happy to see him back on the field. He missed the start of the 2020 season due to a positive COVID test and has already been out several weeks this year. The Nationals are a better team with Soto on the field, shuffling and all.
