The Chicago White Sox are playing like the hottest team in MLB right now, and Liam Hendriks was jacked up over the latest win.

The Chicago White Sox are on quite the hot streak right now, and fans all over the place love seeing it. Entering Thursday’s showdown with the Minnesota Twins, Tony La Russa’s guys had won five consecutive games.

Well, you can go ahead and make it six consecutive victories for Chicago, as they took down Minnesota 4-2. Closer Liam Hendriks got the save against the Twins, and the man was nothing short of jacked up after ending things. Seriously, take a look for yourself and you might be ready to run through a wall.

Liam Hendriks was pumped up after the White Sox win on Thursday

The mood around the White Sox clubhouse is amazing right now and it’s easy to understand why. With this six-game winning streak, the team is now 22-13 on the year and they hold a 1.5-game lead over the Cleveland Indians for first place in the AL Central standings.

There’s a reason Hendriks is so happy right now: Chicago is playing like one of the best teams in the American League, with the bats and pitching both getting the job done. For Hendriks, he’s got seven saves on the year and a 2.93 ERA.

With the game on the line, La Russa has all the confidence in the world to give Hendriks the ball. Time and time again, he’s stepping up for this team and shutting guys down at the plate. White Sox fans love to see it. Is it too early to start dreaming of a division title and a potential deep postseason run? We don’t think so. Nope, not at all.
