6. All of Texas is rooting for Rashad Wisdom
The entire state of Texas will speak highly of Rashad Wisdom, whether it’s about his football ability or his character, everybody wants to see this kid succeed and it’s not long before all of America starts rooting hard for Wisdom.
From the second he arrived at UTSA, the 5-foot-10, 205-pound safety has been on the field proving himself. In two seasons with the Roadrunners, he has made 139 tackles, collected eight TFL’s, two sacks, snagged five interceptions (two returned for touchdowns), three deflected passes, one fumble recovery, and three forced fumbles. Wisdom is everywhere, he smells the ball from a mile away and makes a play over and over and over again. I compare him to a heat-seeking missile.
It’s no fluke that he’s always around the ball and impacting the game with a bone-crushing hit or big interception. He’s a playmaker. Wisdom is arguably the hardest-hitting player in college football right now. He plays with so much emotion, you can see it come out on every hit he makes.
Wisdom displays really strong closing speed and combines that with a fearlessness that is quite unmatched at this level. He displays great instincts and usually tackles with good form. Wisdom is special.
