Steph Curry’s 3-point shooting is even more impressive after seeing this crazy stat.

While Steph Curry has carried the Golden State Warriors to the play-in tournament, he is doing something truly incredible this season from beyond the arc.

Curry is shooting a crazy 56 percent from 25 feet or more out on his step-back attempts. For context, other elite 3-point shooters such as James Harden of the Brooklyn Nets and Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers are shooting 36 percent and 33 percent on this same range of shots, respectively. What was an awful shot for most is now money for sharpshooters like Curry.

He is why Golden State can be a dangerous first-round matchup in the NBA Playoffs.

Steph Curry may carry the Warriors to the Western Conference Semifinals

At 37-33 with two regular-season games left, Golden State will be either the eighth place or the ninth-place team in the Western Conference. The Warriors are expected to face the Los Angeles Lakers in the No. 7 vs. No. 8 game in the play-in tournament. While the winner advances as the No. 7 seed to play the Phoenix Suns, the loser will get the winner of the No. 9 vs. No. 10 game.

Golden State may not be a championship-caliber team this season, but Curry has shown us that he can carry this team on his back on a nightly basis. Assuming Golden State gets into the playoffs out of the play-in tournament, they pose a very interesting matchup for teams like Phoenix and the Utah Jazz in the first round. What if he leads the 2021 version of the “We Believe” Warriors?

Curry’s elite play right now could carry the Warriors to the 2021 Western Conference Semifinals.
