Derek Stingley, Jr. and the 5 best LSU NFL Draft prospects to watch this year
2. Ed Ingram, guard
From Day 1 at LSU, Ingram looked like a stout offensive lineman as a true freshman starter in 2017. Unfortunately, his path took some turns as he was suspended for the 2018 season and had to wait for his chance to start full-time again until 2020. Now he’s projected as one of the top guards in the country returning for 2021 with the chance to become one of LSU’s top draft selections.
1. Derek Stingley, Jr., cornerback
Stingley was the No. 3 player in the recruiting class of 2019, per 247Sports. When he committed to LSU, Charles Power projected him as a future Top 10 draft pick. Nothing has changed after two seasons playing for the Tigers. The former five-star is well on track to follow through as a first-round selection. He’s arguably in line to be the first cornerback off the board. All Stingley has to worry about is making it through 2021 more healthy than 2020. His talent will do the rest.
