Aaron Rodgers was called out by former Green Bay Packers general manager Ron Wolf.

Leave it up to Green Bay Packers iconic team builder Ron Wolf to label Aaron Rodgers as “a diva.”

The Pro Football Hall of Fame general manager went on The Big Show Network on Monday to call out the Packers star quarterback. He put Rodgers in a group with Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks and Deshaun Watson of the Houston Texans and labeled them as quarterbacking divas. Wolf wonders how these quarterbacks could agree to long-term deals and then want out of town.

Calling Rodgers “a diva” is not going to make him want to play for the Packers going forward; in fact, it will probably make him want to pack his bags and get out of town even faster. What is Wolf doing here?

Wolf did explain that he knows why guys like Rodgers, Watson and Wilson secured long-term extensions with their respective franchises. When healthy, all three are among the five best quarterbacks in the NFL. However, all three reportedly wanting out at various points of this offseason all lead back to one major common thread: Undeniable organizational dysfunction.

If the Packers would draft non-defensive players in the first round besides that one project quarterback out of Utah State, maybe Rodgers would feel different about playing in Green Bay? The Packers have not been to a Super Bowl in over a decade and Rodgers is rapidly approaching 40-years-old. While this rocky relationship could be mended, Wolf taking shots is not helping.

Rodgers makes the Packers at least seven games better than they would otherwise without him.
